Still fastest way to get lvl 20?
Hi,
I searched for some time and found out that some time ago fastest ways to get from level 1 to level 20 are either doing prophecies ascension or from level 10 -> eotn -> Kilroy's.. are these still valid? Oh, and can it be done in under 6 hours without scrolls? I don't have that much time to contribute for my other characters than my main so I thought I'd make them at least lvl 20 for further usage.. I didn't find any "How to.."-guide, is there one? Thanks ^^! |

It can be done within 5 hours by just playing Factions, using no scrolls or fancy tricks. Just do all the secondary profession quests. You can hit level 20 before you leave the starting island. Last character I did this with did it in around 4.5 hours. Maybe it's faster if you leave the starting island and do the easy high XP reward quests in Kaineng Center. No need to go boxing or running to the desert.

Well I make a nightfall character (I think warrior is THE fastest to lvl) and make it up to lvl 10 then go to gunnar's hold. Do fronis irontoe whole the time and you're lvl 20 in no time.

I would definitely think kilroy is the fastest way to power lvl a character to lvl 20 solo. Otherwise, just play through questing and etc. and it will happen fast enough. no reason to really try and power lvl.

Fastest way is probably using the quest outside LA to lvl 10 with scrolls. Then go to Kilroys brawling... possible in less than 2 hours...
Without scrolls, I dno... |

I've seen & done 99.9% in GW's PvE, for me it's not fun to repeat those 'boring' things again for the 9000th time.. ^^ I just want straight ahead to lvl20 -> do some HM stuff in the hardest areas etc. :>
Thanks for the answers ^^ I'll just stick to the punchout then I think |

Make a factions character, you'll be 20, off the island and in Kaineng Center in like a few hours.

That being said, Faction is the fastest lvling if speed is your priority. And if you want to focus on the hardest areas, just getting there from cantha will net you lv17 at least. ANd that's for a dungeon in GWEN. I'd suggest you just take the shortest path to the area you want to do and if you need 1 or 2 lvl when you get there, getting to Kilroy or a couple of kilroy quest should net you 20. It's probably the fastest way. EDIT : out of curiosity, if you've done everything times and times again, how come you need a new character? And what plan do you have in mind to want them lvl 20 as fast as possible. Last edited by Steps_Descending; Nov 13, 2009 at 05:56 AM // 05:56.. |

L10 -> Cantha L20 -> Kilroy I did in 2h50m from creation til level 20, and I know it could have been done faster. A huge deal of the time is just running doing all the quests in Kaineng area, so a few Red Rock Candies could probably cut down time towards 2h. |

Though if I find out that someone wants to do it too, this all might be as well obsolete, heh. |

Nightfall is much better IMO because you get to level 10 faster so you can go EotN it to 20, already start working on titles for PvE skills and hero skill points, and you get to abuse heroes from the start. But, it's all preference I suppose. I happen to think you get to EotN too late if you go cantha, and I enjoy boxing because you get decent money in the process. |

This may not be fastest but good for survivor. Start in pre searing and grab mes secondary (quickest), leave pre, get a run to LA (got there still at lvl 1), jump over to Dalessio Seaboard and powerlevel yourself to 10 all in about an hour. Head to eotn.
I dont know how long it takes to get from 10 to 20 in eotn, but this is a pretty quick way to lvl 10. |
